1. Barack Obama
There is no denying the fact that Obama was one of the most popular politicians ever to grace the oval office. He was charismatic, capable of getting things done, and people have just loved having him in the office. His 8 eight years in the office prove that more than anything else. Even though some may not agree with his politic, that still doesn’t change the fact that in the eyes of the many – he’s the most beloved president ever.
2. Arnold Schwarzenegger
It takes a lot of effort and hard work to from winning Mister Olympia seven times and starring in action flicks to becoming a governor of California, especially when you’re born in Austria and have never had anything to do with politics most of your life. Well, our beloved Terminator has proven that everything is possible. Schwarzenegger had gone from being a movie superstar to being in the office for eight years, and for a while, there was even a rumour going around that Arnold might even run for POTUS. However, due to US Constitution, that idea had never come to fruition.
3. Bernie Sanders
For quite some time, Bernie Sanders has been one of the most prominent and most beloved faces of the Democratic party. Somehow, Bernie never managed to go all the way and become a president, but that doesn’t necessarily mean people don’t love him. He’s always the first one to stand up for the average American citizen, which didn’t score him a lot of fans among the wealthy, but considering there are a lot more people on the other side of the spectrum, Bernie still manages to stay in the spotlight and enjoys a reputation that not many other politicians do.
4. Rick Scott
Former governor of Florida, Rick Scott, has always been one of the most controversial political figures. From the early days and his fraudulent dealings in Columbia/HCA, all the way to the “mannequin incident” involving his consultant, Rick Scott has always managed to find its way into the news for all the wrong reasons. 5. Donald Trump
Nobody has been a part of more controversies over the past 20 years as much as Donald Trump has, which is why many find him to be the worst politician the US has ever seen. Now, many would disagree with this, and many could make a great argument for it, but that still doesn’t change the fact that most Americans consider Trump to be the worst politician to ever sit in an oval office.
